Starkiller, Galen Marek was found by Darth Vader in the midst of an Imperial invasion on Kashyyyk where the boy was born. After the death of his Jedi mother, and the killing of his Jedi father in the invasion, Vader took the force sensitive boy to be his secret apprentice in a plot to over throw the Emperor. In time, Starkiller forgot his past and the family he knew before Vader and the dark side. Galen truly believed his mission was to help Vader, endure the torture and training to become a Dark Lord, and prove himself worthy by aiding Vader in his plot. Starkiller was successful in his missions from Lord Vader until the dark lord and his secret apprentice were confronted by the emperor himself. Starkiller was betrayed by his Master Darth Vader and told the truth that he was only a pawn in Vader’s twisted game. Starkiller was left with only one option: revenge. He found the best way to defeat Vader was to help the Jedi he once hunted.
